Felicia Feaster
Felicia Feaster is an award-winning film writer whose work has appeared in The Economist, Elle, New York Press, Playboy, Travel + Leisure, Atlanta magazine, Art in America, TravelChannel.com and the Atlanta Journal-Constitution where she has served as the art critic for the past nine years. She is a managing editor at Travel Channel and HGTV. She holds a degree in film and Eastern European studies from the University of Florida and an M.A. in film studies from Emory University. She is the co-author of Forbidden Fruit: The Golden Age of the Exploitation Film, the basis for a film and lecture series March 2019 at New York City’s Film Forum. She is the co-founder of the Atlanta Film Critics Circle, a group of 26 Atlanta-based critics. For 15 years she was a staff film critic at Atlanta’s alternative weekly Creative Loafing and today her reviews and interviews can be seen on ArtsATL, in The Atlanta Journal-Constitution and Art Papers and on TravelChannel.com. She has appeared on Turner Classic Movies’ FilmStruck streaming service, the NPR affiliate WABE radio in Atlanta and on CNN as a film commentator.
